Les Hauts de Loire: nature and well-being just two hours from Paris

Under the Relais & Châteaux banner, this historic residence welcomes nature lovers who dream of retreating to a haven of peace. It’s located in the Loire Valley, in the heart of the vineyards and châteaux for which the region is famous, and which are on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. In harmony with its surroundings, the hotel invites its guests to discover local flavors while letting go. It has a beautiful Spa by Clarins where you can pamper yourself.

A green setting steeped in history

Formerly known as “Château du Pavillon”, this hotel has retained its authenticity and proudly shares a little piece of its history. The château was built in the 19th century as a hunting lodge. So it’s hardly surprising that he has a large 70-hectare estate. As you stroll through the wood’s alleys, you’ll come across several works of art that have taken up residence here for the duration of a season.

Sleeping in a castle or typical house

“Les Hauts de Loire” offers a choice of accommodation within the château or in a local Solognese-style residence located 30 meters from the château.

Softness at the Spa by Clarins

Clarins is behind the treatments and services offered in the wellness area. A luminous, gentle space featuring a sauna, hammam, relaxation lounge, Clarins product bar and treatment rooms. One of them can accommodate couples for duo massages.

For those who like to cook as well as taste, two chefs are on hand to pass on their knowledge for a few hours behind the stove. The Art Des Mets experience can be shared with Chef Rémy Giraud for a savory recipe, or with pastry chef Tom Duclos for sweet delights. Once a month, the little ones can also try their hand at pastry-making!

Authentic, tasty dishes are at the heart of Le Bistrot. And if you want to be surprised by the inventiveness of Chef Dominique Pépin, the Restaurant ** des Hauts de Loire will blow you away. Here, the Chef brings a modern twist to French culinary staples.

In both restaurants, menus are adapted according to the seasons and garden produce.

Les Hauts de Loire makes a point of honor of “homemade”. The hotel produces its own honey and serves it at breakfast. The beehives are on the edge of the pond, carefully preserved in the heart of nature. Pastry chef Tom Duclos and his team also make their own chocolate. It can be enjoyed on its own or as part of the desserts on the menu.
