The splendid Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti opened its doors in 2019 in the ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio, in the heart of the Dolomites landscape in the Italian Alps, a region declared by UNESCO as a “World Heritage Site”.
In winter, thanks to over 150 km of pistes, you can ski from Pinzolo to Madonna di Campiglio with a single ski pass valid for the entire ski area. The region also boasts four snowboard parks and is known for hosting major sporting competitions, including the Alpine Skiing World Cup.

One of the world’s finest spas, with 5,000 m² of space
The 5,000 m² spa is 30% larger than the one at Lefay Lago di Garda, the brand’s other famous resort. It’s an exclusive temple of well-being where body and mind can regenerate. Here, well-being is everywhere: in the dialogue with nature, in the light that permeates every space and in the enchanting surrounding atmosphere.
The spa features a fitness area offering classes to release tension and stretch muscles before and after skiing or hiking, as well as a wet zone that includes a sports pool, indoor/outdoor pool and an area of nine saunas and steam baths of varying temperatures.
Lefay’s wellness method, which combines classical Chinese medicine with modern Western techniques, is used throughout the spa, with signature energy treatments that aim to rebalance and rejuvenate body and mind.
Therapeutic energy pathways
The scientific committee of the Lefay Spa method has created five energy circuits for the spa, with different levels of temperature and humidity and dedicated herbal medicine (herbal teas) designed to help customers understand the type of energy they need to regain balance. The zone is based on the classical Chinese concept that energy (Qi) moves cyclically through five phases, depending on the season or time of day.
Impulsive and nervous people should take the green dragon route with dandelion and bitter herbal tea and a sauna at medium temperature. The red phoenix path is suggested for anxious people with its warm dry zone and cold bath and lavender and passion flower teas. Customers suffering from fatigue, weakness and melancholy should try the steam bath in the white tiger zone while people under stress should try the path of the black tortoise. The intersection is right in the middle of it all, and is the connecting point to the spa, which offers a space for relaxation and superb views of the mountains.
Each path has a recommended sequence of treatments. On the path of the black tortoise, Lefay has created a space dedicated to purification, meditation and rest.
You can relax and detoxify in the alpine saltwater lake, breathe in the benefits of the salt grotto and regenerate with mud therapy. Val di Genova mud is enriched with malachite for its antioxidant action, magnesium for its energizing and anti-aging effect, and rhodolite to stimulate natural immune defenses.
Lefay has also introduced a range of certified vegan natural products using local ingredients such as horse chestnut, enriched mountain pine and juniper oils, mineral alpine salt and traditional Alpine butter.
In addition, the spa offers non-invasive skin treatments, physiotherapy and osteopathy. There are two treatment rooms reserved for couples.
