15 hectares of gardens protect the resort and make you feel truly alone in the world on this lagoon! 61 suites and villas are spread across this magnificent garden.

Choose from suites overlooking the white sandy beach and sea, or villas with up to 3 bedrooms, a swimming pool and private garden.

Suites are up to 72 m² in size. They all feature a king-size bedroom and extra beds for family travel.

The 17 villas are sumptuous, ranging in size from 250 to 1,000 m², each with its own typically Mauritian swimming pool – built in black lava stone – private garden and view of the nearby lagoon. All villas benefit from premium service, including a 24-hour concierge.

Mauritian architecture is reminiscent of Balinese villas in its openness to the outside world, large and airy thanks to the thatched cathedral roof. This indoor-outdoor living environment is absolutely delightful in these temperatures.

The resort is a true wellness destination thanks to its deep commitment to the practice of ayurveda and yoga.

Ayurveda as a philosophy of life

Ayurveda influences many treatments and therapies. You’ll even find the ayurvedic doshas principle in the hotel’s kitchen, which we’ll talk about a little later.

5 treatment rooms are dedicated to ayurveda . Shanti Maurice Resort & Spa’s expertise enables it to perform massages using these ancestral techniques. More than 15 treatments are exclusively designed according to these principles. Don’t miss the famous massage, in which a trickle of hot oil is continuously drizzled over a precise point on the forehead – a guaranteed stress reliever!

Dr Deepak Uthaman Sobhana is a Panchakarma specialist in ayurveda. He is your Ayurvedic doctor, drawing his knowledge from many years of practice in Kerala. He’s known the power of ayurveda on the body, mind and soul since he was a child. He has accompanied thousands of people in their healing process by working at the source of the problem…and he’s the one who accompanies you during your stay at the resort!

During your stay, you’ll benefit from pre- and post-cure recommendations to optimize the results of on-site treatments.

A superb 7,500 m² spa

The yoga rooms are designed with a special yoga floor. The spa also features meditation rooms and a Pilates studio to awaken the body’s power and mobility. The jacuzzi and several pools, including the Watsu pool for hydrotherapy treatments and the Aquafit pool, are exclusive to the spa.

Hydrotherapy is one of the treatments and techniques to be highlighted here. Treatments performed in contact with hot water are renowned for relaxing, facilitating difficult movements and, above all, letting go. Let yourself be pampered by the resort’s wellness experts and therapists.

25 treatment rooms make up one of the largest and most complete spas in the Indian Ocean. Qualified masseurs and therapists work alongside private coaches and the resort’s Ayurvedic doctor.
