What if a few days were enough to restore your balance? Nestled at 1,800 meters above sea level in the car-free village of Saas-Fee, The Capra is more than just a luxury alpine refuge. This is where the Peak Health method, developed by international nutritionists and therapists, orchestrates a genuine reset of body, mind and rhythm. Holistic treatments, personalized retreats, sensory rituals inspired by the Alps… Each stay has its own regenerating score. The silence of the Valais peaks, the pure air and the warmth of the saunas and hydrotherapy pools do the rest. We slow down… we breathe. Welcome to one of Switzerland’s finest wellness secrets.

The spirit of the Valais between peaks, silence and tradition
In the heart of the Valais, in the unspoilt Saastal valley, lies Saas-Fee, nicknamed the Pearl of the Alps. Surrounded by eighteen peaks over 4,000 meters high, this picturesque village appeals to ski enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.
There are no cars here: you can get around on foot or in an electric vehicle, in a peaceful, oxygenated atmosphere. The hotel is easy to reach from Geneva or Zurich (approx. 3h drive or train to Visp, then private transfer to Saas-Fee).
The Capra is the story of a family who fell in love with the mountains and wanted to create a place to share. The name The Capra pays homage to the black and white goats of the Valais, symbols of balance between fire and ice. In this spirit of harmony, the owners have transformed a small local hotel into a luxury retreat where Alpine tradition meets noble comfort. The result: a home on a human scale, with timeless charm, where everything seems designed to comfort.

Cocooning atmosphere of alpine chalets and suites
With just 38 suites and rooms, The Capra cultivates the art of the mountain cocoon. Each space has been designed like a mountain home. Light wood walls, brushed tweed, gray stone and the golden light of open fires. Large bay windows frame the raw beauty of the peaks, and balconies offer breathtaking views of the village’s snow-covered rooftops.

There are many different categories. Signature Double Rooms (25 to 30 m²) offer an intimate, comforting atmosphere. Their private balcony overlooks the mountains, while inside, elegance translates into plush bedding, a natural stone bathroom and a palette of soothing hues.
Junior Signature Suites (35 to 40 m²) add a separate sitting area, ideal for curling up with a book or admiring the peaks from the large windows. Then there are the Signature Suites (45 m²), miniature apartments with separate living areas and a cosy ambience that makes you feel both invited and at home.
Deluxe Suites (50 to 60 m²) are ideal for families, thanks to their two bathrooms and ingeniously integrated sofa beds or bunk beds. Finally, the Penthouse Suites (75 to 105 m²) embody the ultimate Capra experience. Located on the top floor, they feature a spacious living room with fireplace, a panoramic balcony and breathtaking views of the Saas Valley.

For groups or longer stays, the Chalet du Capra can be privatized, bringing together several suites around a large shared lounge. Whatever the category, Swiss comfort is omnipresent. Top-of-the-range bedding, fluffy bathrobes, Bogner products, Nespresso machine, minibar, IPTV and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Wellness according to the Peak Health philosophy
Regain your balance with alpine wellness
At the heart of the hotel, the Peak Health Spa embodies the soul of Capra. Peak Health’s philosophy is based on a simple principle: reconnect with nature to regain balance and vitality. Pure Alpine air, light, movement and calm become the primary remedies for lasting well-being.

The wellness trail unfolds in soothing mineral surroundings:
- an indoor counter-current pool and an outdoor hydrotherapy pool heated to 35°C,
- a hammam and a Finnish sauna, complemented by a salt sauna for a halotherapy experience,
- a bright gym, a mind-body studio for yoga and meditation,
- sensory showers, footbaths and lavender-scented rest areas.
Everything in this world of stone and wood invites regeneration. Heat, steam and water envelop the body, soothe the mind and calm the inner rhythm.

Customized care and exceptional brands
Peak Health treatments are inspired by world traditions and Swiss innovations. Therapists use Biologique Recherche, Ananné and Lola’s Apothecary cosmetics, chosen for their proven efficacy and botanical purity.

The spa’s menu features complete rituals, including :
- Sérénité en Montagne, a 3-hour ritual combining lavender scrub, honey wrap and alpine herb massage;
- Puissance Forestière, a treatment with honey and pine to rebalance the body after exercise;
- Nuage des Roses, a soothing combination of massage and rose facial care;
- Soin Glace Biologique Recherche, a cryo-ritual to soothe and firm features.

Specialized massages (fascias, sports recovery, meditative aromatherapy, hot and cold stones…) complete this inspired menu. The Spa Privé, a veritable cocoon of wood and slate, extends the experience for two. With hammam, sauna, hydrotherapy pool and personalized body scrub accompanied by champagne or fresh juice.
Finally, for a quick escape, the Spa “Lever du Matin” package invites you to enjoy a gourmet breakfast at Le Capra, followed by a 60-minute treatment and four hours’ access to the spa. A delightful way to start the day, with a view of the mountains.

Peak Health wellness retreats
Every year, Peak Health organizes customized retreats at Capra. Supervised by wellness experts, they combine conscious nutrition, physical activity, meditation and therapeutic treatments in an exceptional alpine setting.
The Peak Health Method is inspired by the mountain lifestyle: active, healthy and rooted in nature. It is based on five pillars. Detoxification, fitness, sleep, mental resilience and healthy habits. Each stay is designed to reconnect the body with its environment, through outdoor activity, treatments and the peace and quiet of the Alps.

Depending on the season, these retreats take the form of summer stays (hiking, yoga, healthy cooking) or winter stays (fitness, recuperation and private spa). Family and corporate versions are also available, making Capra a place of rejuvenation for all ages and all objectives.

Mountain heritage, year-round experience in Saas-Fee
Saas-Fee lives to the rhythm of the seasons. In winter, the 150 kilometers of slopes guarantee exceptional snow coverage thanks to the altitude and glaciers. Guests have access to a private ski room at the foot of the slopes, before returning to the warmth of the log fire. In addition to skiing, there’s night sledging, ice skating, snowshoeing and, for the more adventurous, scootering on snow.

For those who like to explore, the Ski Safari allows you to discover new resorts every day (from Grächen to Zermatt), with organized transfers and tailor-made itineraries. An exclusive experience that combines sport, adventure and exceptional scenery.
In summer, the mountains become a vast adventure playground. Over 350 kilometers of trails, hikes to the glaciers, a spectacular rope park, mountain biking and even summer skiing on the Mittelallalin at 3,600 meters. Each activity can be customized by the concierge team, always keen to create authentic and memorable moments.

Taste of the Valais: terroir, elegance and balance
At The Capra, the pleasures of the table follow the same philosophy as the spa: authenticity, balance and respect for the living. At Brasserie 1809, chef Sebastian Walczak revisits Alpine cuisine with a modern twist, blending seasonal produce with Italian inspiration.

In a hushed atmosphere, you can enjoy, for example: marinated salmon with beet and smoked cream, boletus and Sbrinz risotto, fillet of beef with Périgueux sauce, or salmon trout with salsify and trout roe. And finally, a poached pear with lavender or a chocolate terrine with goat’s milk.

Menus change with the seasons, with an emphasis on short circuits and Valais producers. A Peak Health option is also on the menu, for those who wish to extend their wellness program to the plate.
Finally, under the stone vaults, the Capra wine cellar pays tribute to the vineyards of the Valais. Pinot Noir, Chasselas and Gamay rub shoulders with the finest international vintages. Wine lovers can also enjoy a typically Swiss evening at Fondü d’Astrid, a tribute to a local institution, in a convivial and chic atmosphere.
