Located on the southern shores of Lake Constance in Germany, Buff Medical Resort flourishes in the heart of Büdingen Park, 40,000 m² of parkland lined with majestic trees. The view stretches out over the calm waters of the lake, and the proximity of the Loretto forest or the old town of Konstanz, with its winding lanes and colorful houses, prolongs this impression of balance between nature and culture. Konstanz lies at the crossroads of four countries: Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. Lake or garden view, each category has its own atmosphere
The 118 rooms and suites, ranging in size from 42 to 300 m², are all south-facing, with terraces or balconies opening onto the park or lake. Materials are at the heart of the sensory experience. Cembro pine wood, known for its soothing properties, adorns the walls, while natural textiles and unfinished wood floors add to the warmth.
The beds, which are screwless and metal-free, are equipped with an earthing system, and each room benefits from a simulated altitude climate up to 4,000 meters to enhance cellular regeneration, immunity and sleep quality. Some suites even feature strategically placed bathtubs for contemplating nature.
The décor, with its mix of modernity and Alpine influence, has the feel of a private home. Here, you’ll feel right at home. The entire complex has been designed with respect for the environment, using sustainable materials and paying particular attention to energy efficiency.

Buff Medical Resort offers a unique combination ofstate-of-the-art diagnostic tools and personalized care. Equipment such as the latest-generationcardiac MRI (Cardio-MRI) enables fine analysis of heart health, right down to the detection of micro-lesions, rhythm disorders or assessment of the biological age of the heart muscle. Diagnostic tools also include precise analyses of intestinal microbiota, muscle examinations, short- and long-term HRV (heart rate variability) measurements, as well as spiroergometry and stress ECG.
Check-ups are complemented by a series of functional diagnostics – posture, breathing, metabolism, digestion – supported by technologies such as D-Wall 3D, interval hypoxia-hyperoxia therapy, vascular ultrasound or continuous monitoring of blood glucose and blood pressure. As mentioned above, the pillars of our programs are based on a detailed, cross-disciplinary understanding of human health. BuffMed Programmes are designed as transformation trajectories. They come in four formats:
- Classic (10 to 21 nights): focused on intestinal health, metabolism, physical and mental performance.
- Advanced: with an additional in-depth cardiological component.
- Time Out: shorter stays to recharge, relax or get back into sports (BuffMed Sports, BuffMed Vitality, BuffMed Relax).
- Cardio: a complete cardiovascular health check-up that can be combined with the other programs.
Each stay begins with a complete check-up, including medical examinations, analyses, body diagnostics and a goal-setting interview. Prescribed treatments may include infusions, physiotherapy, breathing sessions, colonhydrotherapy, manual abdominal massages, mineral salt body peels, liver compresses or alkaline baths. All this is complemented by personalized nutritional support. Last but not least, special attention is paid to recovery and continuity: each guest leaves with a follow-up plan and can benefit from post-stay consultations in elemedicine.
The intestine as a key to health
At the heart of the Buff philosophy is the regeneration of the intestine, considered to be the “second brain”. Inspired by the FX Mayr method, the therapeutic fasting practiced at the resort is done without hunger, in a gentle, soothing environment.
